Toyota Industries Corp. reported a 38.2% decrease in first-half profit, with a net income of 91.12 billion yen. Operating profit also fell by 70.3% to 37.53 billion yen. Despite this, net sales increased by 2.1% to 2.06 trillion yen. The company revised its full-year earnings outlook, expecting attributable net income of 180 billion yen, down 31.4% from last year. This revision is due to a settlement payment and customer support expenses related to a U.S. class-action lawsuit and the impact of U.S. tariffs. Annual net sales are projected to be 4 trillion yen. Shares in Tokyo were trading at 16,775.00 yen, down 0.36%.
