SK Group and NVIDIA are partnering to build an AI factory with over 50,000 NVIDIA GPUs to advance chip design, digital twin, robotics, and AI agent development. SK hynix is utilizing NVIDIA technologies for chip manufacturing, digital twins, and AI agents to boost productivity for over 40,000 employees.

The new AI factory is expected to be one of Korea’s largest and will support SK subsidiaries like SK hynix and SK Telecom, as well as external organizations through a GPU-as-a-service model. The partnership aims to develop high-bandwidth memory solutions for NVIDIA GPUs and telecommunications infrastructure, accelerating Korea’s industrial innovation.

SK Telecom plans to build an industrial AI cloud with NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell GPUs in Asia to advance physical AI and robotics development. SK hynix is leveraging NVIDIA CUDA-X technologies and NVIDIA PhysicsNeMo framework to accelerate chip design with AI physics, leading to faster production and greater precision in semiconductor products.

SK hynix is building autonomous fab digital twins using NVIDIA Omniverse libraries and NVIDIA RTX PRO Servers with NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell GPUs for real-time simulation and optimization of fab operations. Additionally, SKT is developing AI agents powered by NVIDIA NIM microservices and NVIDIA AI Enterprise software to enhance collaboration and problem-solving for employees, accelerating productivity in chip development.
