TFI International’s U.S. LTL operations showed slight improvement in Q3, with operating ratio at 92.2%, unchanged from 2024 but better than 94% in Q2. Revenue metrics were down, total tons declined, but weight per shipment rose. Canadian LTL segment saw OR deteriorate to 81.2%.

CEO Alain Bedard highlighted “solid margin performance” despite adjusted EBITDA margin decline to 17.7%. Quarterly dividend increased to 47 cents per share. Adjusted earnings per share fell to $1.20 from $1.59. Individual segments reported lower operating income than a year ago.

TFI’s non-GAAP EPS of $1.20 was in line with Wall Street consensus. Earnings call with analysts scheduled for Friday morning.
