Peloton reported a gross profit for the second quarter of fiscal year 2024, but CEO Barry McCarthy said the company anticipates more challenges. The company’s loss per share exceeded expectations, standing at 54 cents compared to the estimated 53 cents. Revenue came in at $743.6 million, below analysts’ estimates of $733.5 million. Sales fell to $743.6 million compared to $792.7 million from the previous year. In its fiscal third quarter, Peloton expects sales to be between $700 million and $725 million, and its adjusted EBITDA loss to be between $20 million and $30 million. Peloton reported that its retail partnerships with Dick’s Sporting Goods and Amazon were performing well, and its bike rental program is also forecasted to experience 100% year-over-year revenue growth in fiscal 2024.
