The pizza industry continues to struggle as chains face closures and bankruptcy. Technomic data shows declining sales in 61% of pizza chains. Only one brand, Mr. Gatti’s Pizza, achieved double-digit growth. The competitive coffee segment, in contrast, saw 88% of chains with positive sales growth.
