Starbucks’ coffee delivery service has become a $1 billion business for the company, with annual delivery sales crossing the milestone in fiscal 2025. Delivery sales climbed almost 30% in the fiscal fourth quarter compared to the year-ago period. Nationwide delivery is available through Uber Eats, DoorDash, and Grubhub, with the majority of U.S. cafes offering delivery.

Despite slower U.S. consumer adoption of coffee delivery compared to other markets, Starbucks reports that the typical delivery order is nearly twice the size of an in-store transaction, with over 40% of orders including food. While overall restaurant spending has slowed, food delivery has remained steady thanks to discounts, promotions, and expansion into new categories like alcohol and grocery delivery.
