Energy technology company SLB has launched a new artificial intelligence tool, Tela, to automate processes and workflows for oilfield service companies. Tela agents can work collaboratively with humans or autonomously to make decisions like interpreting well logs or predicting drilling issues. SLB’s digital sector drove an 11% revenue growth in the third quarter, with double-digit sales growth forecasted for the segment year-on-year. President Rakesh Jaggi emphasized the importance of digital technology for SLB’s continued success.
