European stocks were flat to slightly lower after a U.S. technology stock selloff. German factory orders rebounded by 1.1% in September, beating expectations. The Stoxx 600 was down 0.1%, with the DAX dropping 0.5%. Bouygues shares rose 1.5% and Fresenius lifted its full-year EBIT guidance. Kontron surged 4.3% and BMW gained 1.2%. Siemens Healthineers fell 8% while Barratt Redrow rallied 2%. Marks And Spencer’s profits halved due to a cyberattack. Ahold Delhaize climbed 2.3% after announcing a 1 billion euro share buyback.
