German football club Borussia Dortmund reported a surge in profit for the first quarter of 2026, with consolidated earnings before taxes rising by 23.9 million euros to 25.6 million euros. Net transfer income increased by 33.6 million euros to 52.9 million euros, contributing to the rise in profit. Revenue remained steady at 107.0 million euros, while consolidated net profit reached 22.9 million euros, compared to 1.6 million euros in the prior year. Personnel expenses for the group also increased by 7.2 million euros to 66.1 million euros in the first quarter.
