Kenvue Inc. (NYSE:KVUE) saw a 17.47% increase in share prices last week due to strong earnings performance and plans to merge with Kimberly-Clark for $48.7 billion. The merger agreement involves Kimberly-Clark acquiring each KVUE share for $3.50 cash and 0.14625 of its own shares. The combined entity will bring together popular brands like Tylenol, Huggies, and Neutrogena. Despite a 4% rise in net income to $398 million, Kenvue reported a 3.46% decrease in net sales to $3.764 billion in the third quarter. Full-year expectations include a drop in net and organic sales, with adjusted diluted earnings per share projected between $1.00 to $1.05.
