PNC Bank plans to open over 300 new branches by 2030, adding to its previous commitment of $2bn. Branches will be in markets like Atlanta, Austin, and Miami, with new locations in Nashville, Chicago, and Sarasota. The bank aims to renovate its entire network by 2029 and hire 2,000 employees.

The expansion will focus on increasing PNC’s presence in cities like Nashville, Chicago, and six other Southeast cities. The pending $4.1bn acquisition of FirstBank will further strengthen PNC’s retail position in Denver and Phoenix. PNC regional president Mike Johnson emphasizes the bank’s commitment to supporting dynamic economies and communities.

PNC Bank, with over 2,200 branches nationwide, is expanding its footprint with the addition of 300 new branches and 58,000 ATMs. The bank also offers mobile branches to increase banking access in low-income communities and areas affected by natural disasters. PNC Midwest territory executive Scott Swanson highlights the bank’s commitment to Chicago’s diverse neighborhoods and business districts.
