VPBank has upgraded its core banking platform to the latest Temenos system, migrating over 18 million customer accounts and millions of loan records within 24 hours. The move, supported by Red Hat OpenShift and Systems Limited, aims to modernize the Vietnamese banking sector for its 17 million customers. The new cloud-native solution will streamline operations, automate workflows, and enhance digital services. VPBank’s digital transformation strategy includes strengthening its digital banking capabilities for scalability and performance. Temenos, Red Hat, and Systems Limited collaborated on the project to accelerate innovation and enhance customer experiences. Temenos recently launched the Temenos Product Manager Copilot, a tool using generative AI technology to help banks design, launch, test, and optimize financial products.
