Kroger Co. announced that Gary Millerchip is leaving his position as senior vice president and CFO to take on an executive role at another public company. Todd Foley has been named as the interim CFO, effective immediately, and a permanent successor will be named at a later date. Millerchip, who joined Kroger in 2001, has played a key role in the company’s financial strategy, including the Leading with Fresh, Accelerating with Digital strategy. His departure marks a significant change for the grocery retailer.
