President Donald Trump is pushing for a nuclear energy surge in the U.S., signing an $80 billion deal with Westinghouse. Canadian uranium producer Cameco and Brookfield Asset Management are part of the partnership to quadruple U.S. nuclear capacity by 2050.

ASP Isotopes (ASPI) is benefiting from the nuclear wave, with a 3.4% stock rise after the deal. The company reported major supply deals, expanded production, and entered radiopharmaceuticals, reaching a 52-week high of $14.49 on Oct. 14.

ASPI, a Washington, DC-based advanced materials company, specializes in isotope enrichment technologies for various applications. With a market capitalization of nearly $841 million, its products support medical imaging, drug development, and nuclear reactors.

Despite a revenue miss in Q2, ASP Isotopes showed steady progress, with gross profit up 36% YOY. Operating expenses rose due to increased R&D and SG&A costs. The company’s net loss widened, mainly due to non-cash charges.

ASP Isotopes remains confident with $67.7 million in cash, three operational enrichment plants, and customer shipments. Revenue projections for new isotopes in 2026 are promising, leading to optimistic analyst expectations for Q3 fiscal 2025 EPS.

Analysts are bullish on ASPI stock, with a “Strong Buy” consensus and an average price target of $11, indicating a 21% potential upside. Lucid Capital analyst Alex Fuhrman sees rapid growth potential for ASP Isotopes, with a $15 price target and a “Buy” rating.
