RadNet has acquired CIMAR UK, a cloud-native healthcare image management solutions provider, to enhance AI-driven health informatics through its subsidiary DeepHealth. This collaboration will improve data connectivity, interoperability, and AI-powered reporting in UK healthcare settings.
CIMAR’s image management system offers vendor-neutral solutions, including clinical AI, used by over half of the National Health Service Trusts and private hospital groups in the UK. The acquisition combines CIMAR’s cloud-native infrastructure with DeepHealth’s informatics applications to provide coordinated care.
DeepHealth aims to redefine imaging-based care by connecting clinical and operational intelligence to enable faster, more accurate diagnoses and improve efficiency. The partnership currently supports NHS England’s Lung Cancer Screening Program, connecting DeepHealth’s AI lung solution to screening locations for earlier detection.
With the acquisition, DeepHealth plans to expand connected, digitally enabled care models to screening and diagnostic initiatives across Europe and the UK, improving access to timely medical imaging. CIMAR’s integration with DeepHealth will scale impact and provide a more seamless, connected, and intelligent imaging experience for patients.
