Visa Inc. (V) has introduced Visa Direct stablecoin payout pilot, allowing US platforms and businesses to send payouts directly to users’ stablecoin wallets. Recipients can opt to receive funds in USD-backed stablecoins like USDC. The pilot is launching with select partners, with a broader rollout planned for the second half of 2026. Visa aims to provide universal access to money in minutes, according to Chris Newkirk, President of Commercial & Money Movement Solutions at Visa.
