Power Corporation of Canada reported third-quarter earnings that exceeded expectations, with a net income of C$703 million or C$1.10 per share, compared to C$371 million or C$0.58 per share last year. Adjusted earnings were C$863 million or C$1.35 per share, beating analysts’ average estimate of C$1.34 per share. The company’s GAAP earnings showed a significant increase from the previous year.
