The Nasdaq Composite started off strong but quickly dropped 0.3%. The S&P 500 only saw a modest 0.1% increase, while the Dow surged by 400 points, or 0.8%. Riskier stocks were bouncing back, but major players in the S&P and Nasdaq were showing mixed results.
