ARK Invest increased its exposure to crypto-linked equities by purchasing more BitMine Immersion Technologies and Bullish shares. The ARK Fintech Innovation ETF, ARK Next Generation Internet ETF, and ARK Innovation ETF collectively acquired over 169,000 BitMine shares and 75,515 Bullish shares, totaling approximately $8.74 million. BitMine shares dropped nearly 6% on Friday.

In addition to buying BitMine and Bullish shares, ARK Invest recently accumulated 542,269 Circle shares over two days, spending around $46 million. The purchases occurred as Circle’s stock price declined, closing at $86 and $82.30. ARK has also been adding to its position in BitMine, acquiring 242,347 shares for about $8.9 million as the stock price dipped below $37.

BitMine has appointed a new CEO, Chi Tsang, as it solidifies its position as the largest public firm holding Ether. With over 3.5 million Ether worth over $11 billion in its treasury, BitMine has transitioned from a crypto-mining business to a significant institutional holder of Ethereum, likened to Michael Saylor’s Bitcoin-focused strategy.
