Google has announced a $40 billion investment in Texas to build new cloud and AI infrastructure by 2027. The funding will support data center campuses in Armstrong County and Haskell County, meeting the demand for advanced computing power. The company will also focus on responsible infrastructure growth, launching a $30 million Energy Impact Fund to accelerate local energy initiatives. Google will partner with the electrical training ALLIANCE to train existing electrical workers and apprentices in Texas, doubling the pipeline of new electricians by 2030 to support next-generation infrastructure.
