Joe Biden confuses Mexico, Egypt while defending his memory

From Fortune:

President Joe Biden held a press conference to dispute claims about his mental acuity. His statements were marred by a misstep in which he referred to the Egyptian president as the leader of Mexico. This underlines growing concerns about his age and fitness to govern.

Biden rejected a report from Special Counsel Robert Hur that accused him of exposing classified information, saying, “I did not break the law. Period.” But it also found him to be “an elderly man with a poor memory,” struggling to remember critical facts.

Democrats are upset about media portrayal of Biden. Even so, concerns about his age and ability are growing. Announced candidates for the 2024 election include President Biden and Donald Trump, the frontrunner, despite Trump facing criminal charges. “If you’re too senile to stand trial, then you’re too senile to be president” said Alex Pfeiffer from Trump’s campaign.
