Canterra Minerals Corporation announced step-out drilling results at its Buchans Project in Central Newfoundland. Highlights include 7.73% Copper Equivalent over 4.45 metres. Drilling extended the Two Level Zone and Lundberg stockwork zone, indicating high-grade mineralization remains open to the north. The company plans to continue drilling to test new targets.

The drilling results confirm the potential for a larger and higher-grade system at Buchans. High-grade copper and gold mineralization was found in step-out drilling, expanding the Two Level Zone and Lundberg stockwork zone. Canterra’s ongoing program aims to extend mineralization and test new targets in the VMS camp.

The Two Level Zone mineralized footprint has expanded to approximately 200 m x 50 m, hosting high-grade sulphide mineralization similar to historic ore at Buchans. Drilling results show consistent stockwork sulphide mineralization equivalent to the Lundberg Resource, indicating further expansion at depth. Canterra’s strategy is to unlock new value through continued drilling in Canada’s VMS districts.

Canterra plans to conduct follow-up drilling at the Two Level Zone to test mineralization continuity. The company’s 8,000-metre drill program at Buchans will also target high-priority areas across the project. The Buchans Project includes the past-producing Buchans Mine and Lundberg open pit resource, covering 95 km2 near Buchans.

Newfoundland and Labrador’s Junior Exploration Assistance Program may provide financial support for Canterra’s 2025 exploration programs at Buchans. The company focuses on critical minerals and gold in central Newfoundland, with projects near past-producing mines and gold deposits. Canterra’s projects have current and historical Mineral Resource Estimates, supporting exploration for new discoveries.
