Uber Eats has teamed up with Starship Technologies to introduce autonomous delivery services in the UK, Europe, and the US. The service will begin in Leeds next month and expand to other regions in Europe and the US by 2026 and 2027. About 10 Uber-branded robots will be responsible for deliveries within a two-mile radius, completing them in under 30 minutes. Customers will not be able to tip the robots, but they can rate their experience on the app. Uber’s stock is currently trading at $90.25, up 0.82 percent on the NYSE.
