The project will improve connectivity for ships in the Pacific, Europe, and the U.S. using Low Earth Orbit satellites, advanced wireless systems, Wi-Fi, and 5G. This initiative builds on Booz Allen’s 5G prototyping work and aims to enhance onboard operations and crew quality of life through better communication. The company will apply expertise in systems engineering, cloud architecture, edge technologies, and cybersecurity to support MSC’s modernization efforts.
