Toyo Ink India, a subsidiary of the artience group, is set to expand liquid ink manufacturing capacity at its Gujarat facility by 2028. The expansion will increase liquid ink output by one-and-a-half times to meet growing demand from India’s packaging industry.

Toyo Ink India entered the liquid ink business in 2011 through imports and later began domestic manufacturing in 2013. The company plans to leverage its technologies to address social issues and provide innovative solutions that meet customer needs in the Indian market.

Shekhar Barua, head of Toyo Ink India’s liquid ink and plastic colorant units, emphasized the importance of expanding production capacity to meet surging demand in India. The move aims to position the company as a leader in the Indian liquid ink market and deliver sustainable and innovative solutions to customers.
