Amazon’s Jeff Bezos sold 12 million shares, worth $2 billion, on Wednesday and Thursday, marking the first time he’s sold shares in over a year. He plans to sell 50 million shares over the next 12 months, further adding to his $199.5 billion fortune.

Bezos has sold over $30 billion in shares since 2002, primarily gifting stock, and Amazon has declined to comment on the sale.
