Bitcoin scaling needs improvement for widespread use. Mitchnick praised stablecoins for efficient value transfer and sees potential for retail remittance and cross-border transactions.
ARK Invest CEO Cathie Wood lowered her 2030 Bitcoin price prediction due to stablecoins scaling faster than anticipated, taking over some of Bitcoin’s projected use cases. Wood previously forecasted Bitcoin reaching $1.5 million by 2030 but may reduce it by $300,000. Tether co-founder Reeve Collins predicts all currency will be stablecoins by 2030.
