The Fear and Greed Index indicates “Extreme Fear” in the market. The VIX from the Chicago Board Options Exchange is a trusted measure of volatility. Market trends, including the VIX, were discussed by Yahoo Finance on Thursday. The CNN Fear and Greed Index shows “Extreme Fear” as of Nov. 21.

The Crypto Fear and Greed Index, like the CNN Index, is also in “Extreme Fear” mode. It measures price momentum, volatility, derivatives market, market composition, and proprietary data. The gold Fear and Greed Index is currently in the “Greed” quintile. The price of gold has risen as equity and crypto markets have stalled.

Real assets, municipal bonds, treasuries, real estate, and private infrastructure are favored opportunities. Bull markets should be ridden, not timed.
