A multi-stakeholder organization held a meeting in Lahore and online to discuss priorities for sustainable scaling of organic cotton production in Pakistan. Participants explored policy changes to support farmers shifting to organic methods and ways to address sector challenges. OCA aims to support over 10,000 organic cotton farmers in the upcoming season, producing an estimated 16,000 metric tonnes of lint cotton. The organization provides farmers with training, financial guidance, and market connections. OCA also introduced digital tools for data collection and transparency, working towards long-term resilience and growth in Pakistan’s organic cotton sector.
