Beamr Imaging Ltd. will present joint research with NVIDIA at a video conference in Denver in 2024, highlighting automated video modernization for the AV1 format. This new format is key in growing markets like AI, streaming, and user-generated content, but faces slow adoption due to complex and costly processes in upgrading existing video libraries.

Video consumption continues to surge, yet most videos still use a 20-year-old format. The presentation will showcase a collaboration between Beamr and NVIDIA to expedite the adoption of AV1 at scale.

Beamr and NVIDIA will outline an automated process to transition video libraries to the AV1 format while maintaining quality and optimizing bitrates using NVIDIA’s hardware.

Beamr’s Content-Adaptive-Bitrate technology, supported by over 50 patents, facilitates efficient modernization and will be launched on Amazon’s AWS on February 20.
