Dell’s fiscal third-quarter earnings fell short of Wall Street revenue expectations, but the company anticipates a robust fourth quarter driven by increased AI sales. Dell reported $27.01 billion in revenue versus an estimated $27.13 billion, with net income of $1.54 billion. The company raised its full-year revenue guidance to $111.7 billion and expects $31.5 billion in fourth-quarter sales. Dell’s AI server shipments also increased, reaching $25 billion for the year. Dell’s AI systems cater primarily to big businesses, governments, and neoclouds like CoreWeave, with less focus on hyperscalers. Dell’s data center business saw $14.11 billion in sales, while its laptop and PC business reported $12.48 billion, a 3% increase year-over-year but slightly below analyst expectations. Dell spent $1.6 billion on share repurchases and dividends during the quarter.
