Toyota Motor Corp. reported a 3.1% increase in worldwide production in October, reaching 1.05 million units. Production inside Japan grew by 5.7% to 415,331 units, while production outside Japan increased by 1.4% to 638,025 units. The company’s worldwide sales also saw a 3% growth, totaling 1 million units. Sales inside Japan were 200,045 units, and sales outside Japan were 803,586 units. Toyota brand, including Lexus, sold 922,087 vehicles, a 2.1% increase from the previous year. Daihatsu sales grew by 19.5%, while Hino sales fell by 13.3%.
