Soybeans gained 5-7 cents ahead of the holiday, with the national average Cash Bean price at $10.59 3/4. Soymeal futures were mixed, while Soy Oil futures rose 32-57 points. Market closed for Thanksgiving, with a hard open on Friday. China bought 10-15 cargoes of US soybeans, but USDA flash sale announcements were quiet.

China blocked a shipment of Brazilian soybeans due to wheat mixed with pesticides. Export sales data for the week ending October 16 will be released on Friday. Jan 26 Soybeans closed at $11.31 1/2, Cash was at $10.59 3/4. Mar 26 Soybeans closed at $11.40 3/4, May 26 Soybeans closed at $11.50 1/2.
