Morien Resources Corp. has started a maiden drill program at the Lazy Head Aggregate Project in Nova Scotia. The program will evaluate the granite resource quality, continuity, and volume for quarry design and permitting. The project, developed with Carver Companies, aims to create local jobs and economic value for the community.
The Lazy Head Project is a long-term construction aggregate quarry and marine terminal venture in Guysborough. Morien and Carver’s strategic partnership seeks to develop export-oriented assets in Atlantic Canada. Community engagement and environmental studies are ongoing, with advanced mitigation systems planned for noise, dust, and light impacts.
Morien will receive milestone payments and royalties from Carver for the Lazy Head Project. Carver, a U.S.-based logistics and materials group, owns a granite quarry and marine terminals along the East Coast. Morien’s focus on shareholder returns and responsible management guides its operations in the mining industry.
