Emerita Resources Corp. announces a 1,536km Helicopter time-domain electromagnetic and magnetic (HTEM) aerial geophysical survey over the Iberian Belt West (IBW) project and adjacent San Antonio exploration project starting in December 2025. The survey will cover existing IBW deposits and exploration prospects within Emerita’s claims.
The survey area includes portions of the Iberian Pyrite Belt known to host accumulations of massive sulphides and areas with high potential for new resource discoveries. The survey will compare signals from well-known deposits with identified prospects and untested areas, aiming to detect metallic mineral concentrations for potential drill testing.
Helicopter-mounted sensors will record an elevation profile of the ground and measure electrical and magnetic properties of rocks up to 500m below the surface. The flight lines will be spaced at 100m intervals and controlled by a GPS system. Xcalibur Smart Mapping will conduct the survey, with data expected in January 2026 for review and interpretation.
Efforts will be made to complete the acquisition phase of the survey before the end of December 2025, weather permitting. The interpretation of results will begin in January or February 2026 by Intelligent Exploration of Canada. Qualified Person Joaquin Merino approved the scientific and technical information in the news release.
