Stocks saw a modest rise in Friday’s U.S. trading session, allowing the Dow Jones Industrial Average to close November with a 0.3% gain after being down 3.8% earlier in the month. The S&P 500 also experienced a turnaround, ending the month in positive territory after being down 4.4% as of Nov. 20.
