Indian shares opened lower due to uncertainty over the Indo-U.S. trade deal and foreign fund outflows. The BSE Sensex dropped 240 points, or 0.3 percent, to 84,898, while the NSE Nifty fell 104 points, or 0.4 percent, to 25,934. Stocks like TMPV, Maruti Suzuki India, BEL, NTPC, and Hindustan Unilever declined over 1 percent. IRFC remained stable after securing a ¥300 million ECB loan. India Cements saw a 1 percent drop after selling its stake in PT Adcoal Energindo. Canara Bank decreased by 1.2 percent after raising Rs. 3,500 crore through bonds, while Motilal Oswal Financial Services was down 1.5 percent on plans to raise Rs. 300 crore through debentures.
