Apple announced that Jennifer Newstead will become the general counsel on March 1, 2026, taking over from Kate Adams. Lisa Jackson, VP for Environment, will retire in late January. Newstead will also oversee Government Affairs. The Environment and Social Initiatives teams will report to COO Sabih Khan. Adams will transition to Newstead, who will join in January as SVP.
