Koryx Copper Inc. has identified multiple targets for drill testing at Luanshya West in Zambia. Successful surveys and sampling programs have been completed, with a drill program planned for early 2026. The Company also holds exploration licenses for the Mpongwe project in Zambia, with initial sampling completed and drilling planned for 2026.
The Luanshya West project is located in the Chambishi basin, with mineralization in Lower Roan rocks and potential in the upper contact zone between Mwashya Subgroup and lower Nguba Subgroup rocks. A drone magnetic survey identified new anomalies, confirming existing ones for further work and drilling. Priority targets have been established for drill testing in 2026.
At the Mpongwe project, access was challenging due to weather conditions. Historical data was analyzed, and soil sampling is underway. Interpretation of results will be conducted during the wet season for follow-up work in 2026. Initial drilling may coincide with the Luanshya West drill program.
Koryx Copper Inc. has the option to acquire up to 80% of the exploration licenses in Zambia. The Company is focused on advancing the Haib Copper Project in Namibia and building a portfolio of copper exploration licenses. Haib is a large, advanced copper/molybdenum porphyry deposit with significant exploration history and potential for long-term, low-cost production.
