Uber Technologies has launched a new robotaxi service in Dallas using autonomous vehicles developed by Avride, a subsidiary of Nebius Group N.V. Dallas riders can now be matched with an Avride robotaxi for UberX, Uber Comfort, or Uber Comfort Electric rides. The service initially covers a nine-square-mile area in Dallas with plans to expand.

In addition to Dallas, Uber offers robotaxi access in Austin, Phoenix, and Atlanta through Alphabet’s Waymo network. Uber, along with WeRide, also launched a commercial robotaxi service in Abu Dhabi, marking the first commercial driverless robotaxi offering in the Middle East. These launches aim to make robotaxis a global transportation reality.

Uber’s stock has gained 39% in a year compared to the Internet-Services industry’s growth. With a 12-month forward price-to-sales ratio of 3.16X, Uber is considered inexpensive within its industry. Analyst estimates for Uber’s earnings in the fourth quarter of 2025 and beyond have been trending upward, with the stock currently holding a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold).
