Microsoft Corp. announced a price increase for Office and Microsoft 365 subscriptions for business and government customers worldwide starting July 1, 2026. The hike is due to added features like better security and AI tools, addressing higher IT demands and cyber threats. Prices for various plans will rise, including Business Basic to $7 and Enterprise E5 to $60 per user per month. Features include Copilot Chat for easier document editing and enhanced security measures. This is the first major global increase since 2022, following the first increase in 2022 and earlier consumer Office bundle price hikes.
