Lithuanian supplier SBA Home is expanding in North Carolina with Inter IKEA’s support. The $70m facility will produce up to two million furniture items annually, including KALLAX shelving units. IKEA has seen declining sales, prompting a move towards regional production to manage costs and attract customers under inflationary pressure.
