Leading from Wall Street, major averages in the U.S. also closed lower, with the Dow falling by 0.45 percent, NASDAQ by 0.14 percent, and S&P 500 by 0.35 percent. Investors are awaiting the Federal Reserve’s decision on interest rates this week, with expectations of a quarter-point cut. Crude oil prices also dropped by 2.13 percent to $58.80 per barrel.
