Google and Warby Parker are set to launch the first lightweight AI glasses in 2026, as confirmed in a filing with the SEC. These glasses, developed through their partnership, aim to provide screen-free assistance and in-lens display for helpful information like navigation or translation captions.

Google, Samsung, Gentle Monster, and Warby Parker are collaborating to create two types of AI glasses. Screen-free assistance glasses offer built-in speakers, microphones, and cameras for natural interactions with Gemini. Display AI glasses add a private in-lens display for timely information like turn-by-turn navigation.

Google introduced updates for the Galaxy XR headset, including Likeness, PC Connect, and travel mode, to enhance spatial capabilities. PC Connect allows users to link Windows PC to the headset and display desktop windows alongside native apps from Google Play. PC Connect is currently in beta testing.

The new updates for the Galaxy XR headset are available starting Tuesday, enabling users to seamlessly integrate the headset into everyday activities. Google’s Android Show also showcased upcoming devices from partners, highlighting features like Likeness and travel mode for a more immersive experience.
