Nissan and Wayve have partnered to integrate Wayve’s advanced AI technology with Nissan’s ProPILOT series, enhancing driver-assistance systems in a wide range of vehicles. Nissan first introduced ProPILOT in 2016 and launched ProPILOT 2.0 in 2019, offering multi-lane support and hands-off functionality. The new collaboration aims to deploy ‘Wayve AI Driver’ in mass-produced vehicles, starting with the first model in Japan in fiscal year 2027. This integration is expected to improve ProPILOT’s functionality and convenience, providing advanced driving systems to global markets, including Japan and North America.
