The wheat complex closed with losses on Friday, with Chicago SRW futures down 4 to 5 cents in most contracts. KC HRW futures were also down 4 to 5 cents, with MPLS spring wheat fractionally lower. Commitment of Traders data showed spec funds trimming positions in Chicago and KC wheat futures and options.

Export Sales data for the week ending November 20 is expected to show 300,000-750,000 MT in wheat sales. A South Korean importer purchased 65,000 MT of wheat in a private deal. CBOT and KCBT wheat futures closed with small losses on December 25, while MGEX wheat futures closed mostly unchanged or slightly down.
