HB&O has appointed Mathew Neal as head of accounts at its Coventry office, part of a series of promotions within the company. Neal, with HB&O since 2003, will lead the audit and accounts department in Coventry, which currently has 15 professionals. The firm employs 100 people across its three locations. Other team members have also received promotions, including Jack Dunne, Tim Smith, and Sophie Butteriss. Trainee accountants Anu Muthulingam, Lewis Hogan, Neelam Marwaha, and Sophie French have advanced through the apprentice trainee accountant program. Additionally, staff in the virtual finance office and tax team have been promoted. HB&O managing director Mark Ashfield praised the team’s work and growth, emphasizing the importance of talented individuals to support the company’s ambitious plans in Coventry, Warwickshire, Birmingham, and the wider West Midlands.
