Mobileye, known for its ADAS and AV technology, has had a tumultuous history in the market. After going public in 2014 and being acquired by Intel for $15.3 billion in 2017, it was spun off in 2022. However, since December 2024, its stock has dropped by nearly 75% and is currently trading just above its 52-week low.
Recently, Mobileye announced a 5% staff layoff due to declining demand, especially from China. The company’s financials have been deteriorating, with revenue dropping from $2.08 billion in 2023 to $1.65 billion in 2024. Despite challenges, Mobileye has $1.75 billion in cash and is expected to rebound.
