The US labor market added 64,000 non-farm payroll jobs in November, as reported by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). This follows a drop of 105,000 jobs in October due to the government shutdown.

Unemployment Rate and Wages

The unemployment rate rose to 4.6%, while average hourly wages increased by only 0.1%, falling short of the anticipated 0.3%.
