The Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) has unveiled a strategy paper to support the growth of Singapore’s small and medium-sized accounting practices (SMPs). With 761 accounting entities in Singapore, 98% are classified as SMPs, playing a crucial role in supporting the country’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The strategy paper focuses on areas such as collaboration among companies, introducing a digital badge framework, piloting technology solutions, encouraging international activity, and partnering with educational institutions to attract graduates and create career pathways in the sector.
